 The First XV always looked in control during this bonus point winning performance against Carrick-on Suir at frogmore on Sunday. The final scoreline of 27 V 12 was a true reflection of how the game went. Sean Brosnan scored two tries for the winners and Alan Frahill and Stephen Twohig got one each. Jonathon Ormond kicked two conversions and a penalty. Dermot Lanigan and JP Wallace replied with tries for Carrick' and James Wallace added a penalty.

The First XV are back in action at home to Carrick-on-Suir this coming Sunday 3rd of Feb. Carrick have been performing particularly well over recent weeks and have turned games in hand into points on the board while we need to target this game as a must win. All in all this is a fixture which should have the ingredients for a stirring contest. Don't miss it.

A young and energetic Killorglin side came to Frogmore for this Munster Junior Cup tie and helped to provide a keenly contested game against an understrength Youghal XV yesterday.The Kerry side are Third Division leaders and were only finally beaten in the closing minutes of an absorbing match. Because of a number of enforced changes a number of younger players were thrown in at the deep end for the home side and proved that we continue to find and develop promising talent.
